Project Developer and Gas Storage Developer

An independent power project developer with over 20 years of management experience. Over the last 12 years, he has led the development and portfolio management of over 6000MW of generation and 2bn m3 of gas storage projects involving commercial contract negotiation (construction, power, gas and company sale and purchase agreements), financing (debt and equity), planning and property negotiation and project origination. His track record includes a focus on planning and executing projects in emerging markets involving difficult operating environments.

Senior Construction Engineer and Project Manager

A qualified engineer with vast experience in project management and execution of large energy and infrastructure construction projects throughout various emerging markets including India, Central & Eastern Europe, East Asia and the Middle East. Recent projects include:

• Infrastructure Pipeline Project in Lebanon
• The New Delhi Formula One International Circuit complex, which includes the track and stadium facilities and associated cricket stadium and real estate developments (role: Chief Operating Officer)
• The 450MW Baglihar Hydroelectric Project in the state of Kashmir (role: Chief Resident Engineer)

Proficient in the management of foreign branches, project management of energy and infrastructure projects (technical, contractual, commercial & logistics), project mobilisation and negotiations and contracting procedures with local stakeholders and management of site works.

Speaks fluent Croatian, English and Italian with a basic understanding of Farsi.

Senior Project Manager and Production Engineer

Has over 30 years of experience bringing into operation and project managing large infrastructure assets in LatAm.  Recently served as Technical Director for Brasil Terminal Portuário (“BTP”) a container terminal in a brownfield area within the Port of Santos, Brazil’s main port and the largest port in Latin America (2.2 million TEUS).

Holds deep experience in power generation in LatAm including serving as the lead manager for coordination, planning and management of the electromechanical equipment and assembly for the Hydropower Plant “Santo Antonio” – Rio Madeira Project on the Consortium Odebrecht – VATech – Alstom and Voith.

Has worked in large international power and infrastructure majors such as GE Hydro do Brasil as  Commercial Superintendent of Hydropower EPC Projects for Latin America and  Manager of EPC Contracts for various projects.

Mechanical engineer fluent in Portuguese, English, Italian and Spanish.

Wind Power Technician and Manager

Vast experience in the analysis, development and management of wind energy projects. Formerly served as general manager of a developer with more than 400MW installed capacity in Austrian wind farms. 

Served as Head of Project Development at Energiewerkstatt, Austria, acting as technical advisor for wind energy projects in Romania, Serbia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Poland and Bulgaria with an installed capacity of more than 500 MW.  Initiated and coordinated SEEWIND “South East Europe Wind Energy Exploitation” www.seewind.org/de, the largest research and demonstration project in the area of wind energy within the 6th framework program of the European Commission. 

Holds a BS degree in Landscape Architecture and BS and MS degrees in Environmental Engineering from the University of Land Science and Technical University, Austria.  Holds an MBA from the Vienna University of Economics and Business.

Infrastructure Manager/Executive

Executive with strong background in the energy market, including gas distribution and power generation. Experience in M&A, Business Development, Financial Planning and Analysis with large international companies with local presence in LatAm.

Specialities:

• Power distribution and generation (specific knowledge on generation includes: hydro, gas, wind and biomass); gas distribution and transportation.
• Market analysis, project finance, mergers and acquisition, business development, and financial planning and analysis.

Waste-to-Energy Project Manager and Engineer

Projects and Engineering Consultant/Director experienced in the development and delivery of large-scale waste & energy projects with proven success in the development of projects from initial concept to operation. Specialist knowledge of advanced thermal processes for domestic-commercial waste treatment, syngas production and bio-mass combustion.

Key areas of expertise include Project Design & Development, Environmental Permitting and Consulting, Business Development, Contracting and Project Management

Power Project Developer

Senior business development and project development professional with extensive director and senior level experience in the power sector (renewables and conventional) with PowerGen, AES, Renewable Energy Systems Ltd. and AEI. 

Energy Technician

Senior Mechanical Engineer with over 25 years of experience in the electricity and power generation industry.  Has carried out technical and commercial due diligence on numerous projects including existing power plants, project pipelines and new developments.

Educational qualifications include mechanical engineering and industrial economics and management. He speaks Dutch and German.

Oil & Gas Engineer

Oil and gas engineer with 35 years of experience in instrumentation, system design, commissioning and development. His educational qualifications include a MSc in electrical and control engineering.

He speaks Italian, Spanish and Russian.
