Adrian Calvert
Adrian has over fifteen years of legal and commercial structuring and development experience with energy companies and funds in emerging markets and is a qualified lawyer.
Prior to founding WindRose Capital, he co-founded an investment company in Brazil, Euroventures, which structured and invested in early stage renewable energy and natural resource projects in that country and has joint ventured with either strategic investors or private equity funds for follow-on equity and debt structuring and has negotiated exits of such portfolio assets. He has held various directorships in the investee companies in this regard and is currently on the Board of a mining company listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange, focussing on Latin American exploration.
Adrian’s experience as a lawyer has been in the energy and natural resource/project finance practice areas with Clayton Utz lawyers (Australia) and Clifford Chance lawyers (London and Sao Paulo).
Adrian holds a BA/LLB from the University of Queensland Australia and an MBA from INSEAD business school and speaks advanced Portuguese.
